2012-04-25 Where Is It Wednesday?

Congratulations, we have a winner!

Hotel de Ville

Hotel de Ville

BJ of The Armchair Parisian and Vreni of Vreni’s Vienna Daily Photo correctly identified last week’s photo

Looks like the Hôtel de Ville to me.

It is indeed! Enjoy your coveted Chupa Chups badge!

This week I’ve decided to keep going easy on you. Will you dear readers be as successful with this week’s Where Is It Wednesday photo?

Where Is This?

Correct answers in the Comments section below win a coveted prize.

I’d like to turn this site into more of a collaborative effort, if at all possible. For that, I need your help!

If you have taken a picture of Paris on your smart phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!

Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.

Thanks so much for your help!

Paris Paul

  1. Thanks for the badge!! This week´s “where is it” photo shows the Ecole Militaire! Last July I attended the ballet “Roméo et Juliette” in the courtyard of the EM, it was an open air performance of Quartier d´été. A great evening!

    • Hi Vreni!

The Ecole Militaire is close but not exactly right. It’s down the road a stretch, behind the Eiffel Tower, at the end of the Champ de Mars, whereas the Invalides is at the Esplanade des Invalides. Thanks for trying, though.

      Better luck this week!

      See you in the streets,

      Paris Paul
