Lily of the Valley / Muguet for the First of May

2012-05-01 Typical Tuesday: Sunshine on my Shoulders / Happy May 1st!

First up is a very cool guest post from Louise-Marie! It’s of the oldest tree in Paris and is called “400 Year Old Flame”.

After that, my own contribution pales in comparison! This is a shot of lily of the valley / muguet which is the traditional flower here in France to celebrate May Day, which is also labor day. It’s impossible to be outside and not see a sidewalk vendor with a makeshift, cardboard counter hawking these.

Please feel free to check out my Paris Inspired fiction here

If, like Louise-Marie, you have taken a picture of Paris on your cell phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!

Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.

Thanks so much for your help!

Paris Paul
