The Porte de Versailles has become the cavernous tomb of King Tutankhamun, for the Egyptian ruler’s chambers have been recreated and replicas of the treasures displayed for all those interested in reliving Howard Carter’s amazing discovery.

I’d like to turn this site into more of a collaborative effort, if at all possible. For that, I need your help!
If you have taken a picture of Paris on your cell phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!
Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.
Thanks so much for your help!

I saw this exhibit several years ago while it was traveling to a museum in Florida. Awesome! Bet it’s really neat at Versailles!
It was awesome, but it’s not technically at Versailles per se. It’s not at the Chateau de Versailles, but at the Porte de Versailles on the fringes of Paris, which is basically the city’s Exposition Center. But you’re right, it is awesome!
