I’m proud to say we have a new contributor here at Paris by Cell Phone! Grant H., from Brisbane, Australia, was generous enough to share the following pic. Here’s what he said about it in his e-mail:
This was taken in September 2011 on my iPhone3. I’ll call it, Paris by cell phone from the back of a Montmartrobus, in your honour.
And what an honor it is!
As for me, I’d like to share a common Parisian café prop: the sugar bowl. It looks like a 1970′s designed metal Pac Man with a UFO hatch and, not unlike yours truly, will gladly give you some sugar if you lift up its top.
Please feel free to check out my Paris Inspired fiction here
If, like Grant H. you have taken a picture of Paris on your cell phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!
Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.
Thanks so much for your help!

I love the Maison Rose even though I know it just from passing by. Well, I´m a girl, I like pink
The colours in the photo of Grant H. are like in the 70ies…
I thought the same thing about the pic! It looks like his bus traveled back in time !
Wow! Thanks for posting my pic, Paul. I’m so honoured. Now, as i said, there’ll be more in late September when i return from my next visit. I don’t usually shoot with my cell phone but, for you and your beautiful web-site, i’ll definitely try to capture something special. Until then, lots of love, Grant.
Hi Grant!
My pleasure! Thanks for the love concerning my site; it’s readers / contributors like you that help to make it what it is. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you can share with us after your September trip!
See you in the streets (in September, maybe?)
Paul Prescott
