Four right answers this week! A new record!
33 quai d’Orsay
75007 Paris
A newcomer, Anne at Just Another American in Paris won bragging rights by answering first. Just 10 minutes later, BJ at The Armchair Parisian swooped in with another version of the same answer, to be followed later by Krs at WannaGoTo-Paris. Better late than never, Grant, our friend from Brisbane who contributed the lovely photo for Typical Tuesday yesterday, answered under the wire last night.
BJ’s answer was the most complete, so I’ll reproduce hers here:
Palais Bourbon ~ built by the Duchess of Bourbon, daughter of King Louis XIV. Now houses Assemblée Nationale, the French parliament’s lower house. Located in the 7th near Pont de la Concorde.
Go BJ!
Not to be outdone, Krs was generous enough to include one of his own cell phone shots of the building
First in was , followed by Krs at and Vreni from Vreni’s Vienna Daily Photo
Where Is This?
I took this shot with a special app to do panoramic shots. Do you recognize this Place? [Hint: it'll be easier to see if you click on the shot shot to open it up in another window.]

I’d like to turn this site into more of a collaborative effort, if at all possible. For that, I need your help!
If, like Krs, you have taken a picture of Paris on your smart phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!
Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.
Thanks so much for your help!
Please feel free to check out my Paris Inspired fiction here

Place du Palais Royal
Right again, BJ Thanks for the visit!
See you in the streets,
Paris Paul
That´s the Place du Palais Royal!
On the nose! Thanks for playing, Vreni!
See you in the streets, Paris Paul
I got it! It was driving me crazy. That app has “edited” the entrance to the Palais Royal and it threw me. After careful scrutiny I finally worked it out from the bottom of the letters on the Louvre des Antiquaires. It’s the Place du Palais Royal. Cheers, ParisPaul. Keep ‘em coming
Will do, Grant!
See you in the streets,
Paris Paul
