This mural was actually quite amazing as it appeared to have been scraped out of the dirt in the wall (though I’m 90% sure this was not the case). It looked very cool and a little bit like one of Van Gogh ‘s self-portraits. I’m including below a thumbnail of my unedited shot if you want to see what it ‘really’ looked like, although I like using filters to make the photo appear as I saw it, not necessarily how it was.

I’d like to turn this site into more of a collaborative effort, if at all possible. For that, I need your help!
If you have taken a picture of Paris on your cell phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!
Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.
Thanks so much for your help!
Please feel free to check out my Paris Inspired fiction here

I love the street art in Paris. Most things I have seen are really artworks…
ANd you would know, museum / art expert that you are!
Thanks for the visit and see you in the streets,
Paris Paul
Very cool! That is just near my friend (Other) Karin’s place, too. There is a lot of interesting street art over there.
xx

Very true. It’s a very lively area and the street art is just part of the local color!
See you in the streets,
Paris Paul
