It’s a shot of the statue “Écoute” (or “Listen”) by Henri de Miller, and it’s located in front of the Église Saint-Eustache Church.

My shot is of the American Cathedral.

I’d like to turn this site into more of a collaborative effort, if at all possible. For that, I need your help!

If, like Krs,  you have taken a picture of Paris on your cell phone and would like to show it off to the world, why not do it here? It doesn’t have to be super artistic–there are enough photo sites of Paris as it is–just taken with a mobile phone and that’s all!

Please send a copy of your photograph to Paris.Paul.Prescott@gmail.com and I’ll let you know when it’ll be posted.

Thanks so much for your help!

  1. Wow, they really are doing quite a lot of work at Les Halles, aren’t they. I knew it was going to be extensive, but wow. Hope the results are better than it was! And I love the filter effect you chose for the American Church. The angle and framing really make it, too!

Actually, now that I look at it, perhaps Krs’ photo can be taken as a kind of commentary, eh? Listeners barred? Kind of like the Cone of Silence? lol It’s a nice angle and capture on that one, too.
